Dignity Health, in partnership with the Santa Maria Times, is again proud to present the 11th Annual Day of Hope, benefiting local cancer patients in need at Mission Hope Cancer Center. Day of Hope teams will once again hit the streets to sell the special edition Day of Hope newspaper, and a celebratory community
car parade will begin at 11:00 a.m.
2024 Day of Hope Ambassador!
Meet Eileen, who is the 11th annual Day of Hope Ambassador for 2024. In April 2023, Eileen discovered a lump on her breast and scheduled a doctor's appointment with her primary care physician. Following a breast biopsy, Eileen's diagnosis of stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma was confirmed. Eileen proudly completed her chemo therapy treatment in January and has completed her radiation therapy journey. She is doing well and is honored to serve as
the Day of Hope 2024 Ambassador.
