2019 Vineyards & Vistas

2019 Vineyards & Vistas

On Saturday, August 24, the natural beauty of Presqu’ile Winery was perfectly paired with the uncommon generosity of the Santa Maria Valley. During Marian Regional Medical Center’s Vineyards & Vistas, 340 attendees were on hand to honor the service of George and Debbie Adam of Innovative Produce / Faith Farming and Dick Donati, Jim Wesner, and AJ Cisney of Rancho Guadalupe, as Marian bestowed upon them the Distinguished Service Award. Their visionary leadership allowed for the completion of the Emergency Services Expansion Project and their friendship to Marian was celebrated.

Attendees also were inspired by David Ketelaar, MD, physician champion for Behavioral Health Services, as they learned firsthand about the necessity of establishing behavioral health programs and services with the Crisis Stabilization Unit. It was also announced from the podium that a $2.7 million gift was also made in the form of a building donation at Marian West. Thanks to the instrumental role of Dan Kaplan, CEO of the Sierra Land Group, this transformational gift provides the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community with expanded Behavioral Health Services.

With a moving patient testimonial from Christie Streeper, attendees left inspired and motivated to help the effort to make developing Behavioral Health Programs and Services a reality. Thanks to the many sponsors, contributors, and supporters, the 32nd Annual Dinner has raised more $307,000 and counting!
